In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
2 cups All-purpose Flour, ½ cup Granulated Sugar, 2 tsp. Baking Powder, 1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
Stir in the milk and beaten eggs, mixing until a smooth batter forms.
1 cup Milk, 2 large Eggs
Gently fold in the apple slices, making sure they are evenly coated with the batter.
3-4 Tart Apples
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat about 2 inches of vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
Vegetable Oil
Carefully drop the batter-coated apple slices into the hot oil, working in batches to avoid overcrowding.
Fry for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the fritters are golden brown and cooked through.
Use a slotted spoon to remove the fritters from the oil, and transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Dust with powdered sugar and serve warm.
